Welcome, I enjoy making new friends and I am so happy you are here!
My name is Olivia, and although we may not know each other in person, I hope you will feel as if we have met after reading a bit more. To start off, let me tell you a bit about who I am and why I write this blog: I am a wife and mama and those are the proudest titles I could imagine to hold. My greatest goal in life is to exemplify Psalm 86:11-12
” Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.”
I am passionate about living simply and frugally and I believe that those two things can lead to an abundance of peace, joy, and faith! I enjoy making home cooked meals that are nourishing and frugal, all without sacrificing taste! You will also find content related to biblical parenthood, homemaking, and family minimalism here!
Now on to some fun facts about me:
I was raised on a working dairy farm, and long to have my own dairy cows again someday. Until then, my weekly trips to pick up milk from a local dairy is as close as I get to that dream.
My husband and I met at our local homeschool co-op. All he had to do to turn my head was give a presentation decked out in his Civil War reenacting gear. He initiated contact through a facebook message a year later and the rest is “history”!
We are a family of five living in less than 900 square feet. Yes, it does get a little swirly around here! We bought our little cottage with hopes of giving it a second life. I hope to share that with you as well as documenting our endeavors to live simply.
If you think we would be good friends, please stick around and read some more!
Shalom,
Olivia
